Hadith #52740
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-صَلَّى يَوْمَ اَلْعِيدِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ, لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلسَّبْعَةُ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري (964)‏ وفي غير موضع، ومسلم (2/606/رقم 884)‏، وأبو داود (1159)‏، والنسائي (3/193)‏، والترمذي (537)‏، وابن ماجه (1291)‏، وأحمد (1/340/ رقم 3153)‏.‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
