Hadith #52742
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-لَا يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ اَلْعِيدِ شَيْئًا, فَإِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَهْ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه ابن ماجه (1293)‏ ولا يظن ظان أن بين هذا الحديث وبين حديث ابن عباس السابق (491)‏ تعارض فحديث ابن عباس خاص بالصلاة في المصلى، وبهذا الجمع قال غير واحد.‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
