Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #52757

Hadith #52757
وَلَهُ: عَنْ جَابِرٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- { صَلَّى سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ بِأَرْبَعِ سَجَدَاتٍ } 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- شاذ.‏ رواه مسلم (904)‏ (10)‏ وهذه الرواية من أوهام بعض الرواة، والمحفوظ، عن جابر.‏ "أربع ركعات وأربع سجدات" وهو الموافق لرواية غيره مما اتفق عليه الشيخان.‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
