Hadith #52759
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { مَا هَبَّتْ رِيحٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا جَثَا اَلنَّبِيُّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ, وَقَالَ: "اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا رَحْمَةً, وَلَا تَجْعَلَهَا عَذَابًا" } رَوَاهُ اَلشَّافِعِيُّ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- ضعيف.‏ رواه الشافعي في "المسند" (1/175/502)‏ وفي "الأم" (1/253)‏، والطبراني في "الكبير" (11/213‏-214/11533)‏، وفي "الدعاء" (977)‏ من طريق عكرمة، عن ابن عباس.‏ ولكن لم يأت عن عكرمة إلا من طريق ضعيف أو متروك.‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
