Hadith #53137
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ شَرُّ اَلطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ اَلْوَلِيمَةِ: يُمْنَعُهَا مَنْ يَأْتِيهَا , وَيُدْعَى إِلَيْهَا مَنْ يَأْبَاهَا , وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبِ اَلدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اَللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه مسلم (1432) (110) . قلت : ورواه البخاري (5177) ، ومسلم (14532) (107) بنحوه ، ولكن موقوفا على أبي هريرة ، وله حكم الرفع كما ذكر ذلك الحافظ في "الفتح" (9/ 244).
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The worst kind of food is that at a wedding feast from which those who come (i.e. the poor) are turned away, and to which those who refuse (i.e. the rich) are invited. If anyone does not accept an invitation he has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
