Hadith #53144
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ : قَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ يَا غُلَامُ ! سَمِّ اَللَّهَ , وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ , وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح .‏ رواه البخاري (5376)‏ ، ومسلم (2022)‏ ، عن عمر بن أبي سلمة قال : "كنت غلاما في حجر النبي ‏-صلى الله عليه وسلم‏- ، وكانت يدي تطيش في الصحفة ، فقال لي رسول الله ‏-صلى الله عليه وسلم‏- : فذكره .‏ وزاد البخاري : " فما زالت تلك طعمتي بعد ".‏
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eat in the name of Allah, and eat with your right hand, and eat from what you follow. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (5376) and Muslim (2022), from Omar bin Abi Salamah, he said: “I was a boy in the Prophet’s lap, Allah may send blessings on him. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him: So he mentions it.” Al-Bukhari added: "It's still my taste."
