Hadith #53158
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيِّ وَحَسَّنَهُ : { أَنَّ اِمْرَأَةَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ اِخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْهُ , فَجَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-عِدَّتَهَا حَيْضَةً } 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن .‏ رواه أبو داود ( 2229 )‏ ، والترمذي ( 1185 )‏ ، وقال الترمذي : " هذا حديث حسن غريب ".‏
"The wife of Thabit bin Qais got a divorce from him in return for a compensation (paid by her), and the Prophet (ﷺ) made her 'Iddah (period of waiting before re-marrying) one menstruation course."
