Hadith #3514
وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ دُعِيَ إِلَى عُرْسٍ أَوْ نَحْوِهِ فَلْيُجِبْ " .
Isaac Ibn Mansour (RA) Narrated Ibn Umar (RA). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a person is invited to a wedding or at another such event, he should respond." (Islamic Foundation 3379, Islamic Center)
