Hadith #1111
فلما قال رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: يا رسول الله! يوم اليهود والناصريين هم الذين يفعلون. قال: ثم نصوم في التاسع من العام القادم إن شاء الله. ولكن قبل وصول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، جاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. (المسلم 2722، أبو داود 2447)
When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! The Day of the Jews and the Nazarenes are the ones who do. He said, ‘We will fast on the ninth of next year, if Allah wills.’ But before the Prophet came, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came. (Muslim 2722, Abu Dawud 2447)
