حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى قَوْمًا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ مِنَ الْمِطْهَرَةِ فَقَالَ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Qutaibah narrated to us, and Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah and Abu Kurayb told us, they said Waki’ narrated to us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ziyad, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that he saw a people performing ablution from purified water, so he said, “Perform ablution thoroughly, for I heard Abu al-Qasim, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Woe!” For the hocks of the Fire...
