Abdul Rahman bin Khalid told us, he said, Hajjaj told us, he said, Ibn Jurayj said, I heard Amr bin Dinar, saying, I bear witness that I heard Ibn Omar. And he was asked about the news, and he said: We did not see anything wrong with that until Ibn Khadij informed us in the year of the beginning of the year that he had heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade reporting. Hammad bin Zayd agreed with them.
