Hadith #24317
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُخَابِرُ وَلاَ نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا حَتَّى زَعَمَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ‏.‏‏
Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, he said, Waki’ told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, he said, I heard Ibn Omar says that we used to communicate and did not see anything wrong with that, until Rafi’ bin Khadij claimed that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade communicating.
