حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. قَالَ ابْنُ الْهَادِ: وَحَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ بَعْدَ هُدُوءٍ، فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ خَلْقًا يَبُثُّهُمْ، فَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نُبَاحَ الْكِلَابِ أَوْ نُهَاقَ الْحَمِيرِ، فَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ»
Abdullah bin Salih and Abdullah bin Yusuf narrated to us, saying: Al-Layth narrated to us, saying: Yazid bin Al-Had narrated to me, on the authority of Omar bin Ali bin Hussein, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Ibn al-Haad said: Shurahbil told me, on the authority of Jabir, that he heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, peace and blessings be upon him, says: “Reduce going out after a calm period, for God has a creation that spreads them out. So when you hear dogs barking or donkeys braying, So seek refuge in God from Satan.”
