Hadith #37862
روى عن أبيه، عن جده، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم زوّج ابنته زينب رضي الله عنها لزوجها أبي العاص. قال الترمذي: الحديث الذي رواه ابن عباس كرتيك جيد في سنده، وهو مبني على حديث عمرو بن شعيب. [1104]
He narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave his daughter Zaynab (may Allaah be pleased with her) back in marriage to her husband Abu al-‘As.\nTirmidhi said: The hadeeth narrated by Ibn ‘Abbaas Kartik is zayid (good) in terms of chain of transmission, and it is based on the hadeeth of ‘Amr ibn Shu’aib. [1104]
