Hadith #37888
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لابن مسعود رضي الله عنه: يا ابن أم عبد، أتدري ما كتب الله على متمردي هذه الأمة؟ قال ابن مسعود: الله ورسوله أعلم. قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لا تُضمّد جراح المتمردين، ولا يُقتل أسراهم، ولا يُفتّش عن الفارين، ولا يُقسّم غنائمهم». [1032]
He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him): “O son of Umm Abd! Do you know what Allah has decreed for the rebels of this Ummah?” Ibn Mas’ud said: “Allah and His Messenger know best.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The wounded of the rebels should not be bandaged, the prisoners should not be killed, the fugitives should not be searched for, and their booty should not be divided.” [1032]
