Hadith #44560
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ قِيلَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَنَا خَلِيفَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ بِهِ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ بِهِ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ.
Musa bin Dawud narrated to us, Nafi’, meaning Ibn Umar, narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, he said, It was said to Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, O Caliph of God He said, “I am the successor of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I am satisfied with him, and I am satisfied with him, and I am satisfied.”
