حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زُرَيْرٍ الْغَافِقِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَرْكَبُ حِمَارًا اسْمُهُ عُفَيْرٌ.
Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al-Razi told us, Salama bin Al-Fadl told us, Muhammad bin Ishaq told me, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Marthad Ibn Abdullah Al-Yazani, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Zurayr Al-Ghafiqi, on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He was riding a donkey, and his name was Ufeir.
