حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ الْأَجْدَعِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ.
Muhammad bin Jafar told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Hilal bin Yasaf, on the authority of Wahb bin Al-Ajda’, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. On the authority of him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “Do not pray after the afternoon prayer unless you pray while the sun is high.”
