Hadith #45725
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Jabir, he said, I heard al-Shu`bi narrating, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays usury, the two witnesses to it, the one who writes it down, the one who tattoos it, and the woman who is tattooed. And the one who makes it permissible, the one for whom it is permissible, the one who prevents charity, and the one who forbids lamentation.
