حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ‏:‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، لَمْ يَجْتَمِعْ عِنْدَهُ غَدَاءٌ وَلا عَشَاءٌ مِنْ خُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ، إِلا عَلَى ضَفَفٍ‏.‏
Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman narrated to us, he said: Affan bin Muslim narrated to us, he said: Aban bin Yazid Al-Attar narrated to us, he said: narrated to us Qatada, on the authority of Anas bin Malik: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not gather for lunch or dinner of bread and meat, except on banks.
