حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: مَا كَانَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ شَرَابٌ، حَيْثُ حُرِّمَتِ الْخَمْرُ، أَعْجَبَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْبُسْرِ، فَإِنِّي لَأَسْقِي أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَهُمْ عِنْدَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، مَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ، فَمَا قَالُوا: مَتَى؟ أَوْ حَتَّى نَنْظُرَ، قَالُوا: يَا أَنَسُ، أَهْرِقْهَا، ثُمَّ قَالُوا عِنْدَ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ حَتَّى أَبْرَدُوا وَاغْتَسَلُوا، ثُمَّ طَيَّبَتْهُمْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ، ثُمَّ رَاحُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَإِذَا الْخَبَرُ كَمَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ.
قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَمَا طَعِمُوهَا بَعْدُ.
Musa told us, he said: Sulayman bin Al-Mughirah told us, on the authority of Thabit, Anas said: The people of Medina did not have a drink, as alcohol was forbidden. They liked dates and dates. I was giving water to the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while they were with Abu Talha. A man passed by. He said: Indeed, wine has been forbidden, so what did they say: When? Or until we look? They said: O Anas, throw it away. Then they said: With Umm Sulaim until They cooled down and washed, then Umm Sulaym cleansed them, then they went to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and lo, the news was as the man said. Anas said: They have not eaten it yet.
