Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47712
Hadith #47712
Amr bin Khaled told us, he said: Abu Al-Malih told us, he said: I heard Maymun, meaning Ibn Mihran, say: I asked Nafi’: Was it Did Ibn Umar invite for a banquet? He said: But one time his camel broke down, so we slaughtered it. Then he said: Gather over Medina. He said: Nafi’: So I said: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, for what? We do not have bread, so he said: O God, praise be to You, this is Iraq, and this is Broth, or he said: broth and a little, so whoever wants can eat, and whoever wants can leave.
