حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ خَوَّاتِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: نَوْمُ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ خُرْقٌ، وَأَوْسَطُهُ خُلْقٌ، وَآخِرُهُ حُمْقٌ.
Muhammad bin Muqatil told us, he said: Abdullah told us, he said: Mis’ar told us, on the authority of Thabit bin Ubaid, on the authority of Ibn Abi Laila, on the authority of Khawat Ibn Jubayr said: Sleeping at the beginning of the day is rags, the middle of it is good manners, and the end of it is foolishness.
