وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى دَخَلَ نَخْلًا فَسَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ حَتَّى خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قَدْ تَوَفَّاهُ. قَالَ: فَجِئْتُ أَنْظُرُ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ: «مَا لَكَ؟» فَذَكَرْتُ لَهُ ذَلِكَ. قَالَ: فَقَالَ:
" إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام قَالَ لي: أَلا أُبَشِّرك أَن اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ لَكَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ صَلَاةً صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ سلمت عَلَيْهِ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
On the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out until he entered a palm tree, and he prostrated and prostrated for so long that I feared that God Almighty will have taken his soul. He said: I came to look, and he raised his head and said: “What’s wrong with you?” So I mentioned that to him. He said: He said: “Indeed, Gabriel He, peace be upon him, said to me: “Shall I not bring you good news that God Almighty will say to you: Whoever sends a blessing upon you, I will pray upon him, and whoever greets you, I will greet him.” Narrated by Ahmad.
