Hadith #48867
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا. اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ. اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ وَلَا تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
وَرَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَشْهَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وانتهت رِوَايَته عِنْد قَوْله: و «أنثانا» . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ: «فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ وَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ» . وَفِي آخِرِهِ: «وَلَا تُضِلَّنَا بعده»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed at the funeral, he would say: “O God, forgive our time.” And our dead, and our witnesses, and our absent, and our young, and our old, and our male and female. Oh God, whoever among us you revive, revive him for Islam, and whoever among us causes it to die, cause it to die in faith. Oh God, do not deprive us of his reward and do not test us after him.” It was narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah, and Al-Nasa’i narrated it on the authority of Ibrahim Al-Ashli, on the authority of his father, and his narration ended when he said: And “Female.” And in a narration Abu Dawud: “So revive him in faith and cause him to die in Islam.” And at the end of it: “And do not lead us astray after him.”
