Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #48352

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not hasten to the imam when he says “Allahu Akbar,” so say “Allahu Akbar.” And if he says: “And not Those who are lost, say: Amen. And when he bows, bow. And when he says: God hears those who praise Him, say: O God, our Lord, to You be praise. Al-Bukhari did not mention: “And when he said: Not even those who go astray.”
