Hadith #48418
وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ بِآيَةٍ وَالْآيَةُ: (إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإنَّك أَنْت الْعَزِيز الْحَكِيم) رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Abu Dharr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, rose until morning with a sign, and the verse: (If you torture them, they are your servants, even if Forgive them, for indeed You are the Mighty, the Wise.) Narrated by Al-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah
