وَعَن عبد الله بن أبي قيس قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ: بِكَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَثَلَاثٍ وَسِتٍّ وَثَلَاثٍ وَثَمَانٍ وَثَلَاثٍ وَعَشْرٍ وَثَلَاثٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يُوتِرُ بِأَنْقَصَ مِنْ سَبْعٍ وَلَا بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلَاث عشرَة. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Qais, he said: I asked Aisha: How often did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to perform the Witr prayer? She said: He used to perform Witr with four, three, six, three, eight, three, ten, and three, but he did not use Witr with less than seven or more than three. Ten. Narrated by Abu Dawood
