وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ. رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to pray one witr, then perform two rak’ahs in which he would recite While he was sitting, when he wanted to bow, he got up and bowed. Narrated by Ibn Majah
