Hadith #48519
وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ مِنَ الضُّحَى فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «صَلَاةُ الْأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Zaid bin Arqam, he saw a people praying in the afternoon, and he said: They knew that praying at other than this hour is better. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said: “The prayer of those who repent when the rain is wet.” Narrated by Muslim
