وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ هَاجَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَفُرِضَتْ أَرْبَعًا وَتُرِكَتْ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ عَلَى الْفَرِيضَةِ الْأُولَى. قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: قُلْتُ لِعُرْوَةَ: مَا بَال عَائِشَة تتمّ؟ قَالَ: تأولت كَمَا تَأَول عُثْمَان
On the authority of Aisha, she said: Prayer was made obligatory as two rak’ahs, then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, emigrated, so four were made obligatory, and the prayer of traveling was abandoned. The first obligatory prayer. Al-Zuhri said: I said to Urwa: What is the matter with Aisha’s tammum? He said: It was interpreted as Othman interpreted it
