On the authority of Tariq bin Shihab, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Friday prayer is a right and obligatory for every Muslim in congregation, except for four: a owned slave, a woman, a boy, or a sick person.” It was narrated by Abu Dawud and in Sharh al-Sunnah, with the wording of al-Masabih, on the authority of a man from Bani Wael.
