Hadith #48578
عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ: «لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُحْرِقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتهم» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Ibn Masoud that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to a people who were missing the Friday prayer: “I intended to order a man to lead the people in prayer and then “The houses of men who do not attend Friday prayers were burned.” Narrated by Muslim
