وَعَن أبي الْحُوَيْرِث أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ وَهُوَ بِنَجْرَانَ عَجِّلِ الْأَضْحَى وَأَخِّرِ الْفِطْرَ وَذَكِّرِ النَّاسَ. رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِي
On the authority of Abu Al-Huwayrith, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wrote to Amr ibn Hazm while he was in Najran, hastening the Eid al-Adha and delaying the breaking of the fast, and mentioned People. Narrated by Al-Shafi’i
