وَعَن عِكْرِمَة قَالَ: قِيلَ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: مَاتَتْ فُلَانَةُ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَّ سَاجِدًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ تَسْجُدُ فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ آيَةً فَاسْجُدُوا» وَأَيُّ آيَةٍ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ ذَهَابِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Ikrimah, he said: Ibn Abbas was told: So-and-so, one of the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, died. So he fell down and prostrated, and he was told: “You should prostrate in This hour? He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If you see a sign, prostrate.” And what sign is greater than the disappearance of The wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace? Narrated by Abu Dawood and Al-Tirmidhi
