Hadith #48756
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" إِذَا ابْتُلِيَ الْمُسْلِمُ بِبَلَاءٍ فِي جَسَدِهِ قِيلَ لِلْمَلَكِ: اكْتُبْ لَهُ صَالِحَ عَمَلِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْمَلُ فَإِنْ شَفَاهُ غَسَّلَهُ وَطَهَّرَهُ وَإِنْ قَبَضَهُ غَفَرَ لَهُ وَرَحِمَهُ ". رَوَاهُمَا فِي شرح السّنة
On the authority of Anas that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“If a Muslim is afflicted with an affliction in his body, it is said to the angel: Record for him the good deeds he used to do, and if he heals him, he will wash and purify him. He seized him, forgave him and had mercy on him.” He narrated them in the explanation of the Sunnah
