Hadith #48757
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" الشَّهَادَةُ سَبْعٌ سِوَى الْقَتْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ: الْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْغَرِيقُ شَهِيدٌ وَصَاحِبُ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَصَاحِبُ الْحَرِيقِ شَهِيدٌ وَالَّذِي يَمُوتُ تَحْتَ الْهَدْمِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ بِجُمْعٍ شَهِيدٌ ". رَوَاهُ مَالك وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
On the authority of Jabir bin Atik, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Martyrdom is seven things, apart from killing in the path of God: the stabbed is a martyr.” The one who drowns is a martyr, the one who suffers from pleurisy is a martyr, the one who dies under fire is a martyr, the one who burns is a martyr, and the one who dies under the demolition is a martyr. And the woman dies as a martyr.” Narrated by Malik, Abu Dawud and Al-Nasa’i.
