Hadith #48762
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ عِظَمَ الْجَزَاءِ مَعَ عِظَمِ الْبَلَاءِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا ابْتَلَاهُمْ فَمَنْ رَضِيَ فَلَهُ الرِّضَا وَمَنْ سَخِطَ فَلَهُ السَّخَطُ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَه
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The greatness of the reward comes with the greatness of the affliction, and when God Almighty loves a people, He tested them, so whoever is satisfied will have contentment, and whoever is displeased will have wrath.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
