وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ: غَزَوْنَا مَعَ أبي بكر زمن النَّبِي صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم فبيَّتْناهُم نَقْتُلُهُمْ وَكَانَ شِعَارُنَا تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ: أَمِتْ أَمِتْ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Salama bin Al-Akwa’, he said: We invaded with Abu Bakr at the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, so we spent the night killing them, and our motto that night was: Die, die. Narrated by Abu Dawood
