Hadith #48797
On the authority of Abu Qatada that he used to narrate that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by a funeral procession and said: “He is at rest or at rest from him.” They said: O Messenger of God, what is the comfort and relief from? He said: “The believing servant is relieved from the hardships of this world and its harms until the mercy of God and the immoral servant will find relief from Him. The servants, the land, the trees, and the animals will find relief from Him.”
