Hadith #48834
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ. دَعَا بِثِيَابٍ جُدُدٍ فَلَبِسَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُولُ: «الْمَيِّتُ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي يَمُوتُ فِيهَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, when death approached him. He called for new clothes and put them on, then said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “The dead person is resurrected in the clothes in which he died.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
