Hadith #48887
وَعَنْ أَبِي الْهَيَّاجِ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَلِيٌّ: أَلَا أَبْعَثُكَ عَلَى مَا بَعَثَنِي عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِن لَا تَدَعَ تِمْثَالًا إِلَّا طَمَسْتَهُ وَلَا قَبْرًا مشرفا إِلَّا سويته. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Abu Al-Hayjaj Al-Asadi, he said: Ali said to me: Should I not send you to do what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me to do: Do not leave a statue? Unless you obliterate it, and there is no elevated grave unless you level it. Narrated by Muslim
