وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ قَبْرًا لَيْلًا فَأُسْرِجَ لَهُ بسراج فَأخذ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَقَالَ: «رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ إِنْ كُنْتَ لَأَوَّاهًا تَلَّاءً لِلْقُرْآنِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ فِي شرح السّنة: إِسْنَاده ضَعِيف
On the authority of Ibn Abbas: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered a grave at night and lit a lamp for it. He took it facing the qiblah and said: “May God have mercy on you. “You were a diligent reciter of the Qur’an.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and he said in Sharh Al-Sunnah: Its chain of transmission is weak.
