Hadith #48901
وَعَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ قَالَ: لَمَّا مَاتَ عُثْمَان ابْن مَظْعُونٍ أُخْرِجَ بِجَنَازَتِهِ فَدُفِنَ أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ بِحَجَرٍ فَلم يسْتَطع حملهَا فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحَسَرَ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ. قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ: قَالَ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُنِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ ذِرَاعَيْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ حَسَرَ عَنْهُمَا ثُمَّ حَمَلَهَا فَوَضَعَهَا عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ وَقَالَ: «أُعَلِّمُ بِهَا قَبْرَ أَخِي وَأَدْفِنُ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ مَاتَ من أَهلِي» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Al-Muttalib ibn Abi Wada’ah, he said: When Uthman ibn Mad’un died, he was taken out for his funeral and buried. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered a man to A stone was brought to him, but he was unable to carry it, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up to him and withdrew from his arms. He said Request: The one who tells me about the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: It is as if I am looking at the whites of the arms of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. When he was sad about them, then he carried it and placed it by his head and said: “I will mark my brother’s grave with it and bury there those who died.” My family. Narrated by Abu Dawood
