On the authority of Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There are four matters in my nation that are not abandoned by the pre-Islamic era: pride.” Concerning calculations, disputing lineages, seeking rain by the stars, and wailing.” He said: “If the woman who mourns does not repent before She will be raised on the Day of Resurrection wearing a garment of tar and a shield of scabs.” Narrated by Muslim
