Hadith #49165
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to take precautions from Sha’ban that he did not take from others. Then he fasts until Ramadan begins, and if it becomes cloudy, he counts thirty days and then fasts. Narrated by Abu Dawood
