وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: إِنَّ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِيَّ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الصِّيَامِ. فَقَالَ: «إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصم وَإِن شِئْت فَأفْطر»
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: Hamza bin Amr Al-Aslami said to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “I fast while traveling,” and it was a lot. Fasting. He said: “If you wish, then fast, and if you wish, then break your fast.”
