Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #49563

On the authority of Aban bin Uthman, he said: I heard my father say: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no servant who says every morning and evening: Every night, in the name of God, with whose name nothing is harmed on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, three times “So anything will harm him.” Aban was struck by a paralysis, so he made the man look at him. Aban said to him: Why are you looking at me? As for the hadith, it is as I told you, but I did not say it on that day so that God might fulfill His destiny upon me. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Abu Dawud, and in his narration: “No sudden calamity will befall him until the morning, and whoever says it in the morning, no sudden calamity will befall him until the evening.”
