Hadith #49216
وَعَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِعَائِشَةَ: مَا بَالُ الْحَائِضِ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: كَانَ يُصِيبُنَا ذَلِكَ فَنُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّوْمِ وَلَا نُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
And on the authority of Muadha Al-Adawiyya, she said to Aisha: Why does a menstruating woman make up the fast and not perform the prayer? Aisha said: This used to happen to us, and we would be ordered to make up for the fast and not ordered to make up for the prayer. Narrated by Muslim
