Hadith #49222
وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ سَأَلَهُ أَوْ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا وَعِمْرَانَ يَسْمَعُ فَقَالَ: «يَا أَبَا فُلَانٍ أَمَا صُمْتَ مِنْ سَرَرِ شَعْبَانَ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ»
On the authority of Imran bin Husayn, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: He asked him or a man while Imran was listening, and he said: “O Abu so-and-so, did you not fast from The secret of Shaaban? He said: No. He said: “If you break your fast, then fast for two days.”
